Help offset Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We are the Environmental Service and Science Club at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. As a club, we work to enable our classmates to become agents of change by researching environmental issues that impact our local community and translating these into action: canvassing area restaurants to promote low- and no-cost practices to support a healthier planet and conducting weekly stream clean-ups.
For this project, our goal is to plant 240 trees on April 18th to offset the impact of our school’s paper usage during the 2018-2019 school year (the last full, uninterrupted academic year).
You can help us with this project either by volunteering to help plant trees on the day of the event (April 18, 2021), or by signing up to have a tree planted in your yard. We're eager to carry out this project and we hope to have your help!

Want a Tree?
Help us reach our goal of planting 240 trees by opting to receive a tree in your yard! Choose the type of tree you want and volunteers will come to your yard on April 18th to plant them. Trees are $5 and will come as saplings (18-24 inches).
