We are the climate ambassadors for Deerfield High School, and we are going to be planting 315 trees on April 24th in order to offset our school's paper usage.
We are passionate about affecting change in our local community and want to do our part to build a more sustainable future. To reach our goal, we are relying on you to request a tree to be planted in your yard! Each tree costs $5 and you can choose the number and type of trees that you would like. We are so excited to make a difference around Deerfield and help the environment in the process.

Help us reach our goal of planting 315 trees by opting to receive a tree in your yard! Choose the type of tree you want and volunteers will come to your yard on April 24th to plant them. Trees are $5 and will come as saplings (18-24 inches).

Grace Friedman
My name is Grace Friedman (she/her) and I am a junior at Deerfield High School. I am also a member of the Illinois Youth Climate Movement. I am very passionate about climate justice and can’t wait for this project to come to life.
Kate Puharich
My name is Kate Puharich I use the pronouns she/her and I am a sophomore at Deerfield Highschool. I am a member of the Illinois Youth Climate movement and I'm very excited for this opportunity to make a difference in my community.
