Help offset Essex High School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
I am working to tree-plenish my community, because I know the immense impact consumption has on the environment. Climate change is an issue that will affect everyone in the future, but right now it is impacting the most marginalized people. The climate crisis will exacerbate our current social inequities, and planting trees can help mitigate these effects locally. If anyone needs financial assistance to cover the cost of the $5 trees, please reach out to me!
Climate change is impacting the world in every arena. So we have to make efforts to fight it on all fronts. I am pushing for climate legislation at the state and national level, I am trying to reduce my usage and support for harmful products, I am working to put in place bottle bricking initiatives in the district, and with your help, we can offset the paper usage for the 2018-2019 school year by planting these beautiful trees.
Support Our Mission!
Want a Tree?
Help us reach our goal of planting 270 trees by opting to receive a tree in your yard! Choose the type of tree you want and volunteers will come to your yard on April 24th to plant them. Trees are $5 and will come as saplings (18-24 inches).
