Help offset Exeter-West Greenwich High School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We are the students of the EWG Sustainability Club, and we will be planting 350 trees on April 10th 2021, in order to offset our school district’s paper usage.
We strive to promote environmental engagement in our community by creating local opportunities for environmental education, community service, and activism. We’ve extracted hundreds of pounds of trash from our coastlines, hosted farmers markets, raised thousands of dollars for environmental causes, and lobbied for environmental education legislation at our state assembly. Now, in conjunction with the Tree-Plenish team, we hope to engage the Exeter-West Greenwich community in our efforts to offset our paper use.
To reach our goal, we are relying on you to request a tree to be planted in your yard! Trees are FREE and you can choose the number and type of trees that you would like.
