Striving for sustainability
at High School of American Studies
April 17th, 2021
Bronx, NY
Help offset the High School of American Studies' paper usage by requesting a tree for your yard or donating a tree for someone else's yard!
HSAS needs to plant 110 trees.
Here's how you can help:
Request a Tree
Order a tree for your yard and pick it up on the day of the event. Trees are FREE and come as an 18-24 inch sapling
Donate a Tree
Donate a Tree to be planted in someone else's yard! Each tree costs $5 and counts towards reaching the students' goal
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We’re the High School of American Studies Environmental Club, and we’ll be planting and giving out 110 trees on April 17th to offset our school’s paper usage.
The club has maintained our beloved HSAS garden in the heart of the Bronx for the past 15 years, but we’re ready to take bigger steps toward a sustainable future across the entire city! To reach our goal, we need you to request a tree to be planted in your yard, or to sign up for our planting event. Trees are FREE and you’ll be able to choose the number and type. Thank you so much for your support!
