Help offset LaGuardia High School's paper usage by requesting a tree for your yard or donating a tree for someone else's yard!

LaGuardia High School needs to plant 250 trees.

Here's how you can help:

Request a Tree

Order a tree for your yard and pick it up on the day of the event. Each tree costs $5 and comes as an 18-24 inch sapling

Donate a Tree

Donate a Tree to be planted in someone else's yard! Each tree costs $5 and counts towards reaching the students' goal

Our Goals

Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle

We are students from LaGuardia High School’s green team and we hope to plant 250 trees, which is 50% offset of our school’s paper usage.

Schools play a large role in carbon emissions, from energy to paper use. New York City is the largest school district in America, with over 1 million students enrolled. As a part of this community, it is our responsibility to be accountable for our carbon footprint. However, we need your help in order to accomplish this. We are relying on you to request tree(s) to be planted in your yard for $5, you can choose the number and type of trees that you wish to have.

Through our tree-planting venture, we hope to appreciate nature even more, and learn how to preserve the things we have.
