Help offset Midwood High School's paper usage by requesting a tree for your yard or donating a tree for someone else's yard!
Midwood High School needs to plant 115 trees.
Here's how you can help:
Request a Tree
Order a tree for your yard and pick it up on the day of the event. Trees are FREE and come as an 18-24 inch sapling
Donate a Tree
Donate a Tree to be planted in someone else's yard! Each tree costs $5 and counts towards reaching the students' goal
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
My name is Stephanie Rakhmonova and I am a junior at Midwood High School that is taking a step at a time to save the environment. Billions of trees are cut down annually, and millions of those trees are turned into paper that students use in classrooms. Trees have so many important roles in our ecosystems, and it is our duty, as a society, to try our best and restore what we have once taken. Therefore, we have converted the number of sheets of paper our school uses into trees we will plant
We will be planting 115 beautiful trees on April 17, 2021. The trees we will have available are Red Maples and Eastern Redbuds. By planting our goal number, we will restore 25% of trees used in our school.
