Help offset Nipmuc Regional High School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We are students of Nipmuc Regional High School and we are going to be planting 150 trees on April 30 and May 1 to reduce our paper waste.
As a part of our AP Environmental Science class, we have been given the opportunity to participate in a service project of our choosing. We have decided to make our school more sustainable by reducing the paper waste in our school. We are all very passionate about protecting the environment and believe that enacting change starts at a community level. Being a 1:1 iPad initiative district, every student has access to an iPad and or computer at school (for elementary students) and home for our middle school and high school students. Along with planting trees to reduce our waste for one school year, we are hoping to strategize and implement methods to conserve our paper usage in the district.
To reach our goal, we are relying on community members to request a tree to be planted in your yard. Each tree costs $5 and you can choose which type of tree you would like to plant!

Want a Tree?
Help us reach our goal of planting 150 trees by opting to receive a tree in your yard! Choose the type of tree you want and volunteers will come to your yard on April 30th or May 1st to plant them. Trees are $5 and will come as saplings (18-24 inches).
