Help offset Peak to Peak Charter School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard

Our Goals

Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle

We are a student group at Peak to Peak Charter School called the LEAP (Leadership in Environmental Awareness and Preservation) Club. Our goal is to plant 170 trees this year to match the amount of paper consumed on an average school year.

As a club, we aim to take action on the environmental issues facing Colorado and educate our community about the environment as well. To achieve our goal, we need households around the Lafayette area to request a tree to be planted in their yards. Individuals can choose the number of trees they want, as well as the type of tree. We are offering the quaking aspen and douglas fir, which are both native to Colorado.

Want a Tree?

Help us reach our goal of planting 170 trees by opting to receive a tree in your yard! Choose the type of tree you want and volunteers will come to your yard on April 25th to plant them. Trees are FREE and will come as saplings (18-24 inches).
