Help offset Thomas Jefferson High School's paper usage by requesting a tree to be planted in your yard
Our Goals
Tree-Duce, Tree-Use, Tree-Cycle
We are the students in Thomas Jefferson High School’s Sustainability Club, and we are going to be planting 113 trees on May 1st in order to offset our school’s paper usage.
We are passionate about bringing positive change to our school and our local community. We want to do our part to build a more sustainable future. To reach our goal, we are relying on you to request a tree to be planted in your yard! Each tree costs $5 and you can choose the number and type of trees that you would like. Thank you for being apart of the positive change in our community!
This Event is Hosted in Partnership with the
Youth Sustainability Board

The Youth Sustainability Board is a youth run nonprofit that serves as a one stop shop for youth engagement in sustainability. Our mission is to educate, engage, and empower youth in sustainability and provide earlier access that can support them in their personal and professional paths through life. We offer opportunities to engage inside their schools, in their communities, with adults in the realm, as well as expand their education and leadership skills.
Support Our Mission!
